COLORADO...
making our way down to the montgomery resevoir
magnolia mine
once producing gold and silver...
now abandoned, we didn't dare walk down that corrodor!
just beyond the mine...
gods country
items found in the old town of south park,
newspaper was used to cover and insulate the walls...
beautiful vintage labels sewn together to make a throw...
love this poster...
colors were beautiful
very old painting pallet...
hop a ride on the south park railroad...
the interior of the old school house...
a marble soda fountain...
items on display in the general store...
back at the cabin where dede is sharing her delicious steak dinner
with "foxy" who comes around daily...
fly fishing on the blue river...
first time and we all loved it!
what an art...
on our way to alma
for the "festival under the clouds"
old glory was waving high, big and beautiful...
it's little towns like these that remind us what life is all about
family, friends, nieghbors and how great america is...
the festival...
just off to the right was a small beach and the blue river
the children were all in swimming, paddle boarding and kayaking
an amazing way to spend a sunday...
a little bit country...
dwight and dede
at the top of hoosiers pass,
just a mere 11,539 feet...
we went a little off roading...
just to get this pick of the montgomery resevoir...
the saloon in alma
best burgers and pizza
not to mention a cold one!
the photo bomb just outside the saloon...
on top of the world or close enough...
