I am honored to be hosting a few wonderful ladies
in my studio in just a few weeks...
the subject? jewelry...
so, I created jewelry book boxes for them
with all the basic info one will need...
I took old hardbacks and gutted them. glued muslin on the outside spine and
old text on the inside spine...
took foam core board and cut strips to the lentgh and width I needed
for each side of my box and covered them
with vintage text...
glued them in place with a glue gun...
then,
I made gauge cards for each box
and included a few descriptions on wire and chaining we will cover...
a few dowels, sample pieces,
a note book and pencil for inspiration...
the spine of our boxes...
& then I just had to show you...
