we decided to get some fresh air and
hike down to the montgomery mine
did I mention we're at 11,000 feet!
and beauty is everywhere...
the frozen water fall
if you look close you can see the
"ice climbers"
not something i'd put on my bucket list
it looks so intense...
peeking through a window of the mine...
unfortunately everytime we come
more and more of the mine
has deteriorated

(this was the greatest gift a man can recieve!)

back at the cabin,
it's so cold our birds won't even come out for food...
my kind of dinner...
funny was cooking stew all day prepping for the kids to come
and this is what we decided on!
choped veggies in a cup with ranch, a little wine
and a little cheese...
